![]() ![]() I recently lunched at Tra di Noi with a friend. Overall I do like the park-like setting and the kids playing about. Not greenery atop the patio and forced ambiance. Perhaps install amber lighting - helps the mood. Park association needs to get this right. Only two beers? They said they normally have five. The best part about this place - they don't overuse salt !!!! Wine list - overpriced and dismal. My funghi pasta was amazing, brothy without the water problem, not soggy and oh so flavorful. ![]() They are working to fix that problem, they assured me. Decadent and divine! Crust was perfect, except for the slightly too thick crust. Food: we ordered and devoured a "funghi" pizza topped with leeks, mushroom and truffles. They run around like a flock of mice let out of their cages for the very first time. Our destination was Marmalade Cafe in Malibu since it's a good stand by, however, upon getting to our destination we walked amongst the outdoor shops and eateries researching "urban spoon" looking for something.not sure what? We stumbled upon "Tra di Noi" and after being greeted by a way-too- young hostess who did not understand the menu, nor how to interact with the public, we were seated and then greeted by a hyper and very attentive staff of all men. After day tripping along the 101, hiking in the hills above westlake village amongst deer and towering oaks, watching families interact in the warmth of the valley we decided it was time to hit the beach for dinner.
